At Excellence Dance Academy, every movement we make and every performance we give carries one powerful message:

This chant is our call to action, our reminder that through dance, we glorify God and inspire others to see His love and truth.

History 

Excellence Dance Academy (EDA) is the manifestation of the  vision of Ebony McSwain. Being a dancer all her life, she feel in love with teaching and choreographing dances as she was given various opportunities in high school. The school staff and her dance teachers saw her talent and began to foster it as much as they could.

After years of planning and preparation, Ebony created a small dance ensemble and EDA was born in 2014. After four years of doing small performances, EDA was able to grow to regular classes and open enrollment in 2018. 

​

With the mission of "Show them who? Show them JESUS!!!" to guide them, the company has been able to offer classes to dancers ages 3 to adult. EDA provides all dancers of all technique levels the opportunity to develop their skills in a safe, positive, and encouraging environment. We aim to reach all interested dancers through virtual and in-person opportunities.
